Hair loss in women

The Androgenic Allopesia which is a hereditary hair thinning is the most common cause. A combination of hormonal deficiencies and genetics which cause the hair follicles in the scalp to shrink. Other causes such as Estrogens deficiencies,(caused by the contraceptive pill), and poor nutrition (leading to B12 and other vitamins and minerals deficiencies) Stress, and thyroid problems are fairly common.

Hair loss in men

It is hereditary as well. It is caused by an excessive conversion of testosterone into dehydrotestosterone which leads to excessive body hair and loss of hair in the scalp.
